Tied & Twisted by Emily Ryan-Davis was a quick, erotic read. Throw in some suspense and it had you thinking up who done it scenarios. I picked up free from All Romance eBooks, but it looks like it as gone back to its normal price which is extremely over priced at almost $4 for approximately 75 pages. Glad I got it free, because it really is not worth spending $4 on. Not that it is bad, just overpriced for what you get.
David’s start up business is going well. Securing his customers and being on call for any incident keeps him busy. But one client remains on his mind. No time for relationships, he dreams of her. When her place of business is broken into, he starts to suspect there is more this woman than meets the eye.
Jovanna has a past that she left firmly there. Changing herself and opening her own business has been wonderful, but she needs the release of going to a BDSM club and submitting to release the stress of her life. But when a break-in happens, she knows she needs more security form David.
David feeling the lust, goes to his BDSM club for the first time in a while and instantly recognizes Jovanna. The two have a scene, but David won’t go any further without her knowing who he is, but she has not interest is sharing names.
So the two go through some hoops together on the BDSM stuff, and lusting after each other. Throw in someone is after Jovanna and you have a very short romance and catch the bad guy scenario.
The BDSM is light, but moves up towards the end. Secondary characters are sparse at best. The heroine has an interesting business, but nothing over the top. In general it was just an ok story. Not bad, but not exceptional.
