The book takes place over a very short timeline, but it seems to drag. Each minute of reading felt like a minute in book time. The overall feel that it was fan fiction for Black Dagger Brotherhood was felt throughout the book like I felt with book one. While I want to continue the series, I am going to put that on hold for now and try to catch up on my TBR. I want to love this series, but it is falling flat over time with me.
